Nolensville got the #1 spot on Movoto.com’s best family-friendly suburbs around the Nashville area. Brentwood, Spring Hill, Thompson’s Station and Fairview also made the list, making Williamson County account for half of the places the top ten list.

The rating was based on information from a schools review website called GreatSchools.org, total crimes per 100k, unemployment rate, average commute time, median household income and median monthly housing costs.

Nolensville got the top spot, coming in at number one with the best ranking possible from GreatSchools.org, a crime ranking bested only by Thompson’s Station and one other city and a great median income score.

Brentwood came in at number two with the highest median income score, second highest schools rating, a low unemployment rate and high commute score.

Thompson’s Station took the number three slot with the third highest schools rating, lowest crimes ranking, making it the safest suburb to live in, and a good median income score.

Spring Hill got the number four spot on the list with the fourth highest schools rating and an unemployment rate on par with Brentwood.

Fairview made the list as well, taking the number eight slot with the sixth highest schools rating and a fairly low crime rate. The article also mentions Bowie Nature Park as a main attraction of Fairview.
