New Developments Approved for Nolensville’s Historic Distric

Plans to build four new buildings and renovate a fifth in Nolensville’s historic district were approved at the town’s commission meeting on Tuesday.

The buildings will be built for office and retail space on 3.2 acres neighboring the Nolen House and Mill Creek Dental. There was some concern about the site being partially on a floodplain, but the plans were unanimously approved.

A landscaping estimate of $76,651 for trees and vegetation may help offset flooding.

The plans were initially approved four years ago, but due to economic downturn they were put on hold. With the commission’s approval from Tuesdays meetings, the plans were set in action once again.
