Nolensville resident Chris Going is an award winning brewer and certified beer judge. For the past two years, Going has been working steadily on his craft beers, under the name Mill Creek Brewing Co. Now he hopes to take his ales to the next level by opening his own brewery in Nolensville. He has created a Kickstarter campaign to raise for his brewery.
Mill Creek Brewing Co. is asking for $110,000. People can make donations has low as $1. Money raised through Kickstarter will go towards the purchase of 900 gallon fermentation tanks, which will allow the brewery to produce large amounts of their four specialty beers, and towards turning the space into a taproom.
The beers of Mill Creek Brewing Co. are “for the every-man. We aim to provide beer that is drinkable on every occasion and for every pallet…simple as that,” Going states on his website.
The way Kickstarter works is that those seeking donations do not receive their donations unless the project receives its goal amount in full by the end of campaign. Donations for Mill Creek Brewing Co is open until Wednesday, November 5th.
