Nine TSC Teams Head to Regionals

TSC Boys Team at Regionals

Nine teams from The Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) will be competing at the United States Youth Soccer Association’s Southern Regional Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina beginning this weekend and continuing through June 29.

Six of the TSC teams earned the right to attend regionals by being crowned State Champions a few weeks ago at the Tennessee State Championships held in Murfreesboro.

TSC teams competing at the Southern Regionals are as follows:

1998 Showcase Girls
1999 Showcase Girls
2002 Showcase Girls
2003 Showcase Girls
2004 Showcase Girls
2001 Showcase Boys
2002 Showcase Boys
2003 Showcase Boys
2003 Premier Boys

“We are really looking forward to seeing our teams compete at regionals,” says TSC Executive Director, Stuart Brown. “The players and coaches are excited to compete at the next level. It’s satisfying for them to see all of their hard work pay-off.”

Regional action will take place at the BB&T Soccer Complex at Bryan Park in Greensboro, NC.

Last year, TSC won its first National Championship as its U-18 girls team beat Carlsbad Elite 3-0 at the US Soccer National Championships in Frisco, TX. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) honored TSC U-18 Coach Ronnie Woodard as 2016 Girls National Coach of the Year.
