New Reality Series Pilot Filmed in Franklin

Bigger or Better Project

It’s a show that involves giving back, a scavenger hunt, and the art of negotiations. As you watch the clip, you can see notable sites throughout downtown Franklin and while the filming is still underway for the first season, we don’t know where the show will air at this time.

Here is how the show works. Two teams of five young adults run through the shops of downtown Main Street, engaging in the game of “Bigger or Better”. Participants begin the game with a simple object and ask random people if they would trade for a bigger or better object.

Those objects will then be researched as to their value with a quick history behind it as well. At the end of the race both teams will come together presenting their items. The team whose object has the highest value will be the winner. In conclusion of every episode both objects will be sold and the total proceeds will go to  help an unsuspecting person in need. That person’s stosry will be told throughout the show.

‘The Bigger or Better Project’ is not the first reality television series to be filmed in Franklin. HGTV’s ‘Listed Sisters‘ was filmed in Williamson County. Twin sisters, Alana and Lex (a realtor and designer) help homeowners sell their home by making over the space while also finding them a new home in the process.
