With a nickname like Music City, we can only  expect the best live music experience.  Musical entertainment is where Nashville really shines, and this year’s July 4th celebration has raised the  bar with an amazing lineup up of artists that will have you dancing down Broadway and tapping your foot to some of today’s biggest hits, party classics, and new music that will have you Shazam-ing that song you can’t get out of your head….and it’s all free! It will be a full day beginning at 1 pm  of live music that everyone will enjoy, right in the heart of Music City, Downtown Nashville. MARTINA MCBRIDE, MIKKY EKKO, AND THE NASHVILLE SYMPHONY WILL PLAY THE 2015 MUSIC CITY JULY 4TH CELEBRATION!

July 4th is a day to celebrate with the whole family, and you can  entertain the entire clan at the free McDonalds’s Family Fun Zone located on 5th Avenue at Broadway just outside the Arena Tower where the Visitor Information Center is located. This area will include fun games, cool inflatables, and live music the whole family can enjoy. McDonald’s samples of the OREO Frappe will be handed out to keep everyone cooled off. It’s the perfect location to play, stay refreshed, and enjoy celebrating your Independence Day, Music City style!

Nashville’s 4th of July fireworks will be the largest fireworks show in the country!

• The display site is more than 1,000 ft. long and it will take 12 men six days to build the show.
• More than 100 miles of wire will be used to connect all shells and devices.
• 100 10” shells and 150 8” shells will be used.
• The fireworks display is choreographed to the live performance of the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony.

COME EARLY FOR A PRELUDE TO THE 4THMORE FREE LIVE MUSIC ON FRIDAY, JULY 3RD!

Southern rockers The Weeks will headline “A Prelude to the 4th”, which will also feature singer/songwriter and pianist Gabe Dixon, singer/songwriter Elise Davis and DJ DU. Live music will kick off at 4 pm with DJ DU. All performances will take place at the July 4th main stage at 1st and Broadway.
