Music City Seafood has closed for business.

Veteran restaurateur and chef Tom Neville purchased Gulf Pride Seafood in The Factory at Franklin two years ago, renaming it Music City Seafood.

On Facebook, they announced the closing.

“We have been blessed to serve the Franklin community for the last two years. Your support of our restaurant and retail market is appreciated. Additionally, we are thankful for the relationships that the opportunity has brought which have enriched our lives!”

It goes on to state the restaurant has closed but the wholesale portion of the business will continue.

“The wholesale portion of our business continues to grow and it has become necessary for us to close the restaurant and retail market to focus on this aspect of our business. We will continue operating the wholesale division, as Inland Music City, from this location until our new building opens in the coming months.”

Customers with a gift certificate to the restaurant will be given a refund. They are urged to call 615-599-4923 to make those arrangements.

No word yet on where the wholesale business will be located.
