Montgomery Gentry Headlines Hits for the Homeless Tonight

Layman Lessons, one of the top-rated non-profit organizations, is hosting a local benefit concert, Hits For The Homeless, featuring CMA Award-Winning country duo Montgomery Gentry. All proceeds will go directly to Layman Lessons which supplies bottled water canteens, survival rescue blankets and an endless amount of food for the local homeless.

Scheduled for tonight, Monday, May 9th from 5pm-7pm at The Factory at Franklin/Jamison Hall, this event will include dinner, a silent auction table and an intimate acoustic performance by Grand Ole Opry members Montgomery Gentry. Etix is handling all ticket sales by phone at 1-800-514-3849 or online at PLA Media. Tickets are $60/person or $100/couple, with all proceeds benefitting Layman Lessons.

With over 30 years of experience serving people with addictions, homelessness and serious mental illness, Founder of Layman Lessons, Louie Johnston Jr., has provided for the homeless since 2000. “I feel so fortunate to have Eddie and Troy sign on for this event,” said Louie. “It is so important to spread the word about Layman Lessons and raise money for a great cause in Middle Tennessee.”

There will be an eclectic range of food from vendors that evening. Sponsors include: Freeman Webb Company, American Home Design, and Richard and Richards Document Storage.
