We spoke with Whitney Miller (a local chef and writer) and her adorable 10-month old son, Miller at The Factory in Franklin. She told us about her upcoming events this weekend, and her inspiration for her latest cookbook.
This weekend, Whitney will be serving up some of her favorite recipes from her latest cookbook New Southern Table and you will have several opportunities to buy her new cookbook as well as meet Whitney.
On Friday night, June 30th, Whitney will be at the MADE SOUTH VIP event, serving Sweet Tea Peach Cobbler and Piper and Leaf will be pairing a tea with her dessert.
Saturday, July 1, Whitney will be at Sam’s Club in Franklin (at 3070 Mallory Lane) from 11a – 1p serving fried chicken & biscuits and signing her cookbook. Afterward, Whitney will return to MADE SOUTH from 3p – 5p for a  signing.
