Mardi Gras Ball 2015 Ticket Deadline Fast Approaching

The 2015 Mardi Gras Ball benefiting My Friend’s House Family and Children Services will be taking place on February 14, 2015 at the Embassy Suites in Franklin, TN.  Mardi Gras Ball was developed in an effort to raise awareness for My Friend’s House Family and Children Services.  Located in downtown Franklin, My Friend’s House is a local 501(3) (c) non profit.

Beginning in 1982,  My Friend’s House Family and Children Services operates two separate programs that deal with the at risk youth in the Williamson county and Middle Tennessee community. The first program is a Group Home Living program. This program assists at risk, juvenile boys, ages 13-17. These boys have been removed from their home by the Department of Children Services and are in a need of guidance.

The Group Home Living program is based on three core values: Goals, Guidance, and Growth. During a youth’s time in the Group Home Living program, the youth selects goals, receives guidance and ultimately grows as person.

The second program is an Evening Diversion Program. This program provides at risk juveniles, who are already involved in the Juvenile Justice system and provide them with the tools and skills that they need in order to redirect their lives.

Mardi Gras Ball takes place annually in order to assist the needs of this amazing program. It is through community involvement that My Friend’s House is able to provide the needed resources for these at risk youth. Some of the basic information about the Mardi Gras Ball is as follows:
