Main Street Festival

Get ready for this year’s Main Street Festival on April 26th and 27th.

The festival will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 10a-7p and Sunday, April 27th from noon to 6pm.

At the festival, you’ll find: 3 food areas, featuring over 20 food vendors, with everything from all-American to Greek, Asian and Mexican far, free entertainment on 3 stages, arts and crafts show, featuring more than 200 entries, a special children’s area on Third Avenue South between City Hall and the Old Courthouse and over 200 artisans & crafters, showcasing and selling their work.

Visit Williamson Source at Landmark Booksellers, at 114 E. Main Street. Landmark has lots of special guests visiting the store.

On Saturday, Wendelin Van Draanen and Mark Pasons will be there from 11a-2p. Wendy is the author of the Edgar-Award-winning Sammy Keyes mystery series, the Christopher Award winning Shredderman books and many more. Mark is a longtime drummer, who contributes to Modern Drummer magazine and he has written non-fiction books. He’ll be promoting his debut Young Adult novel Road Rash.

Tamara Alexander, USA Today bestselling author of numerous books, including A Lasting Impression, A Beauty so Rare, To Whisper Her Name and more will be at Landmark from 1p-3p.

From 2p-5p, meet Christie Jones. Jones is an artist, illustrator and author of several books, including the Eliza Series, the Fox Family of Franklin and more.

Then from 3p-5p, Leonard Issacs, author of Franklin Tennessee,…The Jewel of the Harpeth, will recount his remembrances of growing up in Franklin, giving a glimpse of Franklin life in the 30s, 40s and 50s.

On Sunday, Allison Fox & Friends of Home & Hill, A Quarterly Magazine in the Tennessee Tradition, will come by the store from 12p-4p and Gregory L. Wake, author of Broken Valley, will make an appearance from 12p-2p.

In the afternoon, James A. Crutchfield, author of The Battle of Franklin, Twilight of the Army of Tennessee, will be in the store from 2p-4p.

Landmark Booksellers will also be alive with music on Saturday from 11a-7p and Sunday from 12p-6p.
