Brentwood Police are asking for help from anyone who may have information on a man found dead in a hotel room on Saturday morning.
According to a police press release, officers were dispatched at about 11:38 a.m. Oct. 22 to the Extended Stay America hotel at 9025 Church Street East on a reported death investigation. Responding officers discovered a deceased adult male in a second floor room. The victim, who was determined to be a guest at the hotel, was found unresponsive in the room by hotel staff.
This incident is under investigation by the Brentwood Police Department Criminal Investigations Division. At this time the identity of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin. The cause and manner of death remains under investigation.
The identity of the victim will be released once next of kin have been notified. According to the press release, no additional information will be released at this time.
