Look at These Dramatic Before and After Photos of a Newly Renovated Bathroom

McCalls

There are two places where homeowners spend their money to renovate- kitchens and bathrooms.

In this case, this homeowner enlisted the help of McCalls Carpet One to replace the tile floor in their bathroom along with their shower.

The home was built in 1997 and this Master Bathroom needed a cosmetic update, and the homeowner was not a fan of the lower vanities.

The goal of this project:  Create a look that would last a while and not over-improve the space for resale (in other words, get all the homeowner’s money back and a good ROI when they sell).

As you can see from the photos, the homeowner chose to modernize the bathroom with an all glass shower enclosure. They took out the built in tub and added a free standing one. But the two biggest additions were changing the tile on the floor and shower while adding newly updated vanities.

McCalls Carpet One helped them select a 12″ x 24″ tile for the floor, and a coordinating 6″ x 24″ tile for the shower walls, along with a different accent tile to modernize the feel of the bathroom. They gray tones are on-trend, but not trendy, so they’ll last without looking dated.

McCalls also removed the builder-grade ’90s tile, built the seating bench and the wall insert in the shower stall, tiled and grouted everything.

The result is a fresh new look that meets the homeowner needs that also feels more modern and functional.
