The Longview Rec Center is going oceanside on June 10 as the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department presents a Beach Blast pool party at the outdoor pool at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This first big blast of summer fun will transform the pool deck into a tropical oasis, with pirates and mermaids, plus dancin’ on the deck with DJ Louis Lee. Hang out on shore or take a plunge! There will be plenty of wet and wild pool games, plus dry games for the beach bums! If you get hungry, grab a treat from one of the food trucks (add’l cost).

The pool will be open exclusively for event participants. No rafts or floats, but pool noodles are allowed. This event is $5 per person (maximum of $20 for a family) and requires pre-registration and pre-payment. Children 1 and younger are admitted free. All children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult over 18. Register on-line at www.wcparksandrec.com (activity code # 9619). Space is limited.
