Brentwood High School instructor Doug Anderson is this year’s recipient of the National Association of Biology Teacher’s Ecology/Environmental Science Award.
The award is given each year to one secondary school teacher who successfully develops and demonstrates an innovative approach in the teaching of ecology/environmental science and carries his/her commitment to the environment into the community.
Anderson will travel to Denver, Colorado, in November to attend the NABT Professional Development Conference, where he will receive his award.
