Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman Adds to Family

Williamson County resident and Little Big Town band member, Kimberly Schlapman, recently shared a photo of her growing family on Facebook.

“The New Year brought our family new love. We’re so excited to introduce you to Daisy’s little sister, Dolly Grace.”

The family news came as a surprise to fans and many posted comments on Schlapman’s Facebook page about not knowing she was pregnant.

Little Big Town’s publicist confirmed that Schlapman adopted Dolly Grace through a domestic adoption. Before Thursday’s reveal, Schlapman had not shared her family’s plan to adopt.

Kimberly married her husband Stephen in 2006. The couple’s first daughter, Daisy, is 9-years-old.

Schlampman, along with Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet, make up the country band Little Big Town. Kimberly is also the creator of a lifestyle brand called Oh Gussie! which can be found at Cracker Barrel. She also hosts a cooking show on Great American Country called ‘Simply Southern.’
