Literary Ladies Book Club
Monday, Jan. 26, 6:00 p.m.

The Literary Ladies Book Group meets every third Monday at 6:00 in the board room at the Library in Franklin.  We are eclectic readers, moving from biography to fiction of all genres and from time to time read non-fiction books. This month, they are meeting on the 4th Monday due to MLK Day. They will discuss My Beloved World by Sonya Sotomayor.

The February book will be The Orphan Train by Kristina Baker Kline, and will meet on Monday, February 23, because the library is closed on Monday, February 16.

Meditation: Creating a Personalized Home Practice Series

Meditation is not a one sized fits all practice, come explore several different approaches and techniques and begin to develop a meditation practice that calms your mind, de-stress your body and lets your spirit free. The class will take place in the Children’s Story Time Room. This is a four-week series. Class fee is $40.00 for 4 sessions. The presenter is Theresa Kuhn. Kuhn is a registered Kripalu yoga teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist. She has been practicing yoga and meditation since 2001, studying many different styles and approaches.
