Free Movies!
Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle to enjoy a movie (or two) at the Library.  At 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, they’re showing a very funny film that was written to be a parody of Thomas Hardy and the Bronte sisters’ books. The heroine of the movie takes up an offer from her cousins at Cold Comfort Farm to visit for a while.  She discovers doom and gloom, but decides to set things right for all of the miserable people living there. Stars include Rufus Sewell, Kate Beckinsale, Ian McKellen and Stephen Fry. Rated PG.
