Oskar is a nine-year old young boy, trying to come to grips with the loss of his father on 9/11.  He searches New York City, in almost a scavenger hunt way, for a lock that fits a specific key that he found in his father’s things.  This is a journey to find himself and reconnect with his father.  Sandra Bullock stars as Oskar’s mother.  Based on the book with the same name, this movie also stars Tom Hanks in flashbacks.

Physical Fitness for Beginners
Class Begins Sept 9th
9am-9:45am

Have you thought about getting more physically active but joining a gym is not an option for you?  Then this 10-week Fall exercise program is for you! You start at your current fitness level and progress at your own pace by walking and doing light weight exercises on the beautiful trails surrounding the library.

Research shows us that being physically active decreases our risks for heart disease and stroke, as well as some cancers and even dementia’s and Alzheimer’s disease.  Other benefits:

* Better Balance, reducing broken bones from falls
*Better Sleep
*Controlled Blood Sugar
*Controlled Weight
*Retained Independence
In cases of inclement weather, the class will be held in Meeting Room B.
