Leadership Franklin held graduation ceremonies for its twentieth class on April 13.
Graduates are executives and senior community leaders selected to represent a cross-section of Franklin and Williamson County. As in years past, this class participated in group projects that were aimed at serving the Franklin community. In 2016, these projects benefited the Franklin community in quality of life and recognized 20 years of Leadership Franklin graduates.
Projects included:
Working Toward Zero Waste focused on the amount of solid waste generated by the attendees of the many outdoor events held in Franklin.
Canoe Launch for the City of Franklin Parks consists of a canoe launch ramp/staircase located near the entrance to Pinkerton Park.
The Tenant House Roof Replacement at Harlinsdale Farms was initiated to ensure restoration for future rehabilitation and to further contribute to the historic land’s rebirth.
