Listen up Keith Urban fans! It’s been two years since Urban has toured, but the wait is over. Beginning in June, Urban will embark on his RipCORD World Tour 2016 featuring Brett Eldredge & Maren Morris.
“We’ll be playing a lot of new music from RipCORD, all new production, new cities where we’ve never played … and Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris? It’s gonna be potent and unbridled,” Urban said in Monday’s (Jan 11) announcement of the tour.
“I was a Keith Urban fan long before I ever got this music thing going,” Eldredge said. “He is an absolute powerhouse onstage, unlike anyone I’ve ever seen and, to top it all off, one of the most down to earth people I know.”
“When I was asked to join Keith on tour, I was floored,” Morris said. “I’ve personally been a fan of his for as long as I can remember. This is my first tour at this level, and I can’t think of a more respected writer, artist and musician to join for it. It’s going to be an absolute blast!”
RipCORD World Tour will make a stop in Nashville on November 11 at Bridgestone Arena. Purchase tickets and find more tour information at Keith Urban’s website.
And while the announcement took place on Monday, Brett Eldredge decided to spread some cheer on lower Broadway in downtown Nashville by passing out flowers to strangers on the streets of Nashville. Inspired by his recent video “Drunk in Your Love,” Eldredge chose to “flower bomb” others because he had a dream to pass out flowers. And who wouldn’t want a flower given to them by Eldredge? Watch the video below from Sounds Like Nashville about the “flower bombing” experience.
