Journey Resurrection Takes The Stage At Westhaven’s Front Street Craft Beer Festival

The Westhaven community will welcome the first Front Street Craft Beer Celebration on August 9 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  Journey Resurrection will take the main stage for a free, lakeside concert at Westhaven immediately following the Craft Beer Celebration, beginning at 7:00 pm.

More information about Front Street Craft Beer Festival can be found HERE.

Journey Resurrection is a Nashville-based Journey tribute band. Featuring accomplished Nashville musicians, they bring a live production designed to re-create the look and feel of those magical Journey tours in the 1980’s featuring Steve Perry. Band members include Ryan Christopher on lead vocals, Vic White on keyboards, Rich Eckhardt on lead guitar, George Hawkins on bass, and Jim Handley on drums.

Journey Resurrection is proud to feature the jaw-dropping vocal talents of Ryan Christopher as ‘The Voice’. The current lineup of players in Journey Resurrection has performed, written, or recorded with artists ranging from Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, John Fogerty, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, John Berry and Deana Carter, to even Steve Perry and Journey, itself.

Whether you’re a hard-core Journey fan, a newly converted one, or just want to relive a special part of your life through a shared musical adventure, you will be captured by the moment listening to Journey Resurrection and soaring from the experience long after the party’s over.

Journey Resurrection will also be featured on Sunday, August 3 at 9:00 pm on Hippie Radio’s (94.5) Sunday Night Vinyl, hosted by Your Whitness. The band will play live on-air during the hour-long radio show.

Craft Beer Celebration tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door until sell-out.  Tickets include a five ounce souvenir glass, a brewer’s list card and a pass to entertainment. Designated Driver tickets are also available for $5.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample 30+ craft beers, with many of these brews coming from the best Southern craft and micro-breweries right here in Middle Tennessee including Black Abbey, Jackalope, Turtle Anarchy and Cool Springs Brewery.  This rain or shine event will take place outdoors, under a tent, at the lake on Front Street, at the entrance to Westhaven. Food truck vendors will be on-site and Bellaterra fine cigars will be available for purchase.

Attendees at the event must be 21-years of age or older, and no children, strollers or pets will be allowed. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit The Westhaven Foundation. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.westhavenfoundation.org.
