On Wednesday, October 4, get into the fall spirit and stop by Miss Daisy’s Kitchen at Grassland Foodland Market in Franklin to sample Miss Daisy’s pumpkin squares. Samples will be available from noon – 3 p. 
To celebrate the return of fall, Miss Daisy will be sampling her Pumpkin Squares with Cream Cheese Frosting and serving her own signature blend of coffee from Nashville Roast.
You can also purchase a recipe poster created for Miss Daisy’s Pumpkin Squares with Cream Cheese Frosting. This limited edition poster (only 100 were created) was designed by Franklin artist Mickey Masters.
Tennessee’s “First Lady of Southern Cooking,” Daisy King was the founder and chef of the renowned Miss Daisy’s Tearoom and is now the proprietor and executive chef of Miss Daisy’s Kitchen at Grassland Foodland Market in Franklin, Tennessee.
Miss Daisy is also the author of 14 cookbooks, including the million-selling Recipes from Miss Daisy’s, she’s appeared on the “Today Show,” “CBS This Morning,” QVC, NPT’s “Word on Words” and for 30 years, as the perennial guest chef on Nashville’s WTVF-TV’s “Talk of the Town.”
