Freshman running back Bubba Johnson rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns, leading Page to its fifth straight win with a 38-20 victory over visiting White House.

Page (6-2) is on a hot streak since losing to Fairview and Forrest during the first three weeks of the season.

Johnson scored on TD runs of 1 and 65 yards to give the Patriots a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.

Jacob Van Landingham’s TD passes of 51 yards to Will Pierce and 12 yards to Andrew Metkler increased Page’s advantage to 28-0 in the second quarter.

Van Landingham completed 7 of 13 passes for 101 yards and two TDs.

Johnson’s third TD from 12 yards out with 1:34 left in the first half and Brent Cimaglia’s 45-yard goal in the third quarter gave the Patriots a commanding 38-0 lead.

White House finally scored three TDs during the last seven minutes to finish the scoring.

The Blue Devils (0-9) suffered their 12th straight loss after being held to 79 rushing yards.

Luke Bowers led Page with 10 tackles.
