To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Adrienne West of Brentwood, TN, was named to the fall 2015 dean’s list at Samford University.

Coastal Carolina University

To qualify for the Dean’s List at Coastal Carolina University, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

John Rainey, a senior majoring in marine science, from Franklin, TN was among approximately 2,248 students at Coastal Carolina University who made the Fall 2015 Dean’s List.

Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The University offers 70 areas of study toward the baccalaureate degree, and 17 master’s degree programs. CCU began offering its first doctoral program – the Ph.D. in Marine Science: Coastal and Marine Systems Science – in Fall 2014.
