Brian T. Cornish is a versatile musician playing both drums and woodwinds. A graduate of University of the Arts in 2015 (M.M. Jazz Studies) and William Paterson University in 2013 (B.M. Jazz Performance), Brian studied with Erik Johnson and John Hvasta on drums, as well as Larry McKenna and Vincent Herring on woodwinds. Brian plays professionally on Soprano saxophone, Alto saxophone, Tenor saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, and Drumset.

Over the years, Brian has had the opportunity to share the stage with many accomplished musicians including: Regi Wooten, Mulgrew Miller, Slide Hampton, Steve Wilson, Pete Escovedo and many more.

Brian is currently the touring woodwind player with Quincy Mumford and The Reason Why, a band based out of Asbury Park, New Jersey. The band has been on multiple tours of the East Coast, playing different venues in Vermont all the way down to Florida. Brian is the drummer with Indie-band Rigbi, who is in the process of writing and recording their third studio album. Rigbi recently licensed their EP “Visionary” with broadcast networks on TV. You may hear their music in the background of some of your favorite TV shows.
