Independence High School would like to invite all of Williamson County to a family-friendly affair on April 7 to enjoy its inaugural Taste of Indy event.
Taste of Indy is a community event where everyone is invited to enjoy an evening filled with food and fun as local restaurants provide samples of their specialties.
Event-goers will then have the chance to vote on which participant offers the Very Best Bite.
There will also be a silent auction offering a range of items from Disney World tickets, to dinner dates, spa treatments and sporting events.
The event will start at 6 p.m. and last util 9 p.m. and will be held on the Independence High School campus at 1776 Declaration Way in Thompson’s Station.
The venue will be set up with cafe lights and live orchestra music.
Admission to the event for adults is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Students and kids are $15 in advance or at the door, while children three and under are free. Advance ticket purchases are encouraged to ensure enough tastes for everyone.
