After an afternoon of lane closure congestion, Interstate 65 is now reopened.
Two southbound lanes were closed for several hours due to a crash near mile marker 73.
Secondary routes are still backed up at the end of the day.
A crash that shut down two southbound lanes and a shooting earlier this afternoon at Vanderbilt’s 100 Oaks campus made the commute slow for much of the county coming home.
