Heritage Elementary School Principal Named

Nolensville Elementary Assistant Principal Shannon Robertson has been named Principal of Heritage Elementary School located in Thompson’s Station. Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney made the announcement June 30th.

“Shannon has done an excellent job at Nolensville Elementary,” said Looney. “She has been instrumental in the success of the school, and I know her leadership skills and classroom experience will help build on the excellence already in place at Heritage Elementary.”

“I have loved serving the Nolensville community for the past six years, and it will always hold a special place in my heart,” said Robertson. “But I am excited to begin serving the Heritage community in the coming weeks. I look forward to serving with the students, parents, teachers, staff and the surrounding community to continue the great work at Heritage Elementary School in the upcoming school year.”

Robertson received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Murray State University, her Master’s Degree in Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and her Administrative Licensure in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University.

Robertson has 16 years of experience teaching kindergarten through fifth grade, four of those at Nolensville Elementary. She has served as assistant principal at Nolensville Elementary for the past two years. Robertson began her new role on July 1st.
