Hazardous Waste Collection Day in Williamson County is set for May 5th. The average home produces 20 pounds of this category of waste yearly, so protect the environment by disposing of it properly. Drop off your unwanted household cleaners, adhesives, paint strippers and thinners, pesticides, automotive fluids, poisons, pool chemicals and fluorescent bulbs.

Saturday May 5th from 8:30 AM to 2 PM the Williamson County Administrative Complex at 1320 West Main Street will be accepting waste. This site does not accept Batteries, Oil, Paint, Anti-freeze or electronics since they are accepted year round, and commercial items are also not accepted.

Williamson County collection sites are not equipped to collect Medical or infectious waste, ammunition and explosives, or radioactive waste. (Including smoke detectors) Contact Solid and Hazardous Waste Management of Tennessee for help discarding these items.
