The matchups for both the Predators Cup and Henry Hine Cup were set Wednesday night following losers’ bracket finales at the Centennial Sportsplex.
Montgomery Bell Academy will face off against Brentwood for the Preds Cup and Franklin-Oakland will meet Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central.
High school hockey does not get more intense than Wednesday’s contest between MBA and Ravenwood where the Big Red needed overtime to get past the Raptors 3-2.
Joshua Morris got the game-winner in extra time while Robert Cowan and Blake Robison also had goals.
A fan in the MBA section captured the game winner on his cell phone.

Noah Wamble had a big game in net, stopping 30 of 32 shots.
Sid Ivey scored both goals for the Raptors.
Franklin-Oakland got to the Hine Cup final with a 3-2 win over Blackman-Stewarts Creek in a shootout.

Dylan Lee had two goals – including the game-winner.
Goaltender Dylan Akers saved 32 of 34 shots faced.
Both championship rounds will be held March 6 at Bridgestone Arena, the Hine Cup beginning at 7 p.m. and Predators Cup 9 p.m.
Both GNASH tournaments are double-elimination, meaning the teams coming out of the losers brackets (MBA and Franklin-Oakland) will have to beat the teams in the winners bracket (Brentwood and Mt. Juliet-Wilson Central) twice.
If that situation arises, a second game will be scheduled for a later date.
