Franklin Special School District announced the appointment of two new administrators. FSSD Director, Dr. David Snowden, has named Louise Larkin as principal of Freedom Intermediate School and Adam Demombreun as assistant principal at Freedom Middle School.

“We are excited about Mrs. Larkin’s promotion to the principal position at Freedom Intermediate,” Snowden said. “She has served the district well in her previous position as assistant principal of Poplar Grove Elementary and will continue to provide those leadership skills at Freedom Intermediate.” Larken is stepping into the shoes of former principal Hank Staggs how is moving on to a local university. She has been the assistant principal for the past 5 years at Popular Grove Elementary and has 17 years of teaching experience in special education.

Adam Demombreun is replacing Anthony Ladner who retired this summer. “He will most definitely be an asset to the Freedom Middle administrative team as well as to the district’s Leadership Team,” said Snowden. Demonbreun has been with FSSD from the beginning of his teaching career in 1998. “We are delighted to have Mr. Demonbreun on our administrative staff,” said Principal Kristi Jefferson. “He has the heart for the children and is a fantastic team player.”
