Franklin Police and the Fraud Watch Network invite area senior citizens to Police Headquarters, Wednesday, for tips on safeguarding against scammers.
There will be a presentation, panel discussion, and Q & A to help seniors identify cases identity theft, investment fraud, tech support scams, tech support scams, charity fraud, “the grandparent scam” and foreign lottery scams.
Industry experts will also share how to protect your social security number, bank accounts, PINs & passwords, and much more.
The event takes place Wed, Oct 26th 1p-2:30p. Franklin Police Headquarters is located at 900 Columbia Ave.
