Free Alzheimer’s Lunch & Learn

Williamson Medical Center Free Alzheimer’s Lunch & Learn

The Williamson Medical Center is offering a free lunch & learn for caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients. A one hour presentation will be given on Friday, July 27th at Noon in meeting rooms A-C. Tiffany Cloud-Mann, M.A.Ed., N.C.C., vice president of programs and outreach at the Alzheimer’s Association, Mid-South Chapter, will be presenting.

Items discussed will include effects of the disease and the ageing process, the top 10 warning signs, and what to do if you expect a loved one is falling prey to the disease. “Caregiving for an Alzheimer’s patient is one of the most difficult jobs there is, mentally, physically and emotionally,” Mann says. “Part of our job at the Alzheimer’s Association is to act as a resource and support system for all of those affected by the disease.”

The session is FREE and open to the public. Please reserve a space by calling Williamson Medical Center’s Employee Assistance Program, at (615) 435-5300 and leaves your name and phone number. Reservations are due by July 25th.

Lunch is not provided so bring one if you wish.
