The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum has partnered with Ford Motor Company Fund for the eighth Ford Community Day, in which museum admission is free from 9a-5p Sun, Dec 18th.

In addition to touring the exhibit galleries, visitors can choose from a variety of programs and events that offer fun for all ages. Ford Community Day events include: making an instrument bookmark, Hatch Show Print Letterpress Art, fiddle demonstration, and a guitar pull featuring Danielle Bradbery, Drake White, and Trent Harmon.  Drake White

Although the guitar pull with Danielle Bradbery, Drake White, and Trent Harmon is free, a ticket will be required for admittance to the performance. Guests can make reservations. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the museum on Sunday.

Immediately following the performance, the artists will sign a commemorative Hatch Show Print poster, which can be purchased in the Museum Store. Purchase of the poster is required to participate in the signing. For additional programming information or to make a reservation for this performance, visit the Country Music Hall of Fame website.

“The Middle Tennessee Ford Dealers along with Ford Motor Company look forward to again offering the opportunity to enjoy the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s premier educational experiences at no cost,” says John Barker, Owner, Two Rivers Ford. “Ford’s ties to country music run deep. Henry Ford launched many of his early models at fiddling competitions across the U.S., knowing that country music and the stories behind it were strongly connected to the everyday American.”

“Each year, the Ford Motor Company Fund generously allows the museum to open its doors for free to the public. We are grateful for their support and excited to make the museum available to our community for what is sure to be a memorable day,” aid Steve Turner, chairman of the museum’s board of officers and trustees.

Ford Community Day visitors who show their Ford key will receive 10% off purchases in the Museum Store, Circa and Hatch Show Print, as well as food and beverage purchases at 2|22, Red Onion and Bajo Sexto (excludes alcohol and gift certificates).

Visitors who wish to purchase a museum membership on this day will receive a 20% discount. The discount will be honored on December 18 at the membership desk and online. Visit countrymusichalloffame.org and use discount code FORD20. Follow the museum on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram  and join the conversation using #FordCommunityDay.
