After thoroughly trouncing District 7-AAA Oakland High School and District8-AAA Columbus Central, the Franklin Rebels baseball team defeated District 11-AAA’s top standing team Brentwood on Monday night with a 6-2 victory.
Senior and pitcher Brandon Robertson threw the entire game with three strike outs and one walk. He only allowed 7 hits in as many innings. “I was hoping to get a lot of ground outs,” he said, “but I got a lot of fly balls. My outfielders helped me.”
Frank Glover the coach said, “We’re just playing well right now. We’ve hit that right mix and chemistry with the players and the batting order.” There are 5 games left in regular season, so come out and support your team.
