It’s the third annual Back-to-School Field Day held at the Franklin Housing Community common area on Saturday, July 30th from 11am – 1pm.
Special guests for the event include Franklin’s Police Department Chief Deborah Faulkner, with special musical guest KP & Danai, former America’s Got Talent contestant, Quintavious Johnson and Taylor Secrest.
“This will be the third community picnic we’ve done in the neighborhood over the last year and a half. Our Headquarters is part of the neighborhood, and the people we’ve met and the friendships formed out of gatherings, like these, have become very special,” says Charles Warner, Franklin Police Public Information Officer.
At the picnic, the Franklin Police Department will giveaway a bike. Other giveaways include: identity kits, school supplies and hygiene products.
