Two Franklin Police canines are standing a little taller on their four legs today after some big wins at last week’s United States Police Canine Association, Region-13 Field Trials.
Officer Brett Spivy and his partner, Jenks, were named Overall Regional Champion. Officers Spivy and Jenks also brought home 1st Place Novice Dog, 1st Place Agility, 2nd Place Criminal Apprehension, 2nd Place Evidence Search, and 3rd Place Total Search.
Officer Gibbs and his partner, Duke, won 2nd Place Novice Dog, 3rd Place Evidence Search, and 3rd Place Obedience. Eighteen teams from across Tennessee competed in the certification trials.
