Franklin Square Gets Gun Carriages for 150th

The City of Franklin purchased four, more historically accurate gun carriages for the square in honor of the sesquicentennial remembrance of the Battle of Franklin.

Two arrived on the square on Wednesday where a construction crew removed the old carriages and replaced them with the aluminum plated carriages.

We spoke with Sam Huffman, a representative for the Franklin Square Committee and the treasurer for Save the Franklin Battlefield.
