The Franklin Band just returned from a weekend at the Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional where they earned yet another medal as Class AAA Champions. They were also awarded Outstanding Music and Outstanding General Effect in Class AAA. The band earned a place in Finals, a first for them at a BOA Super Regional. From a starting field of 65 bands, then to the top 15, the Franklin Band placed 5th only following 4 of the best bands in the country (3 consistent Grand National Champions and an Indiana State Champion). If that isn’t enough, the band placed 2nd in overall Music score only behind the regional champion. Congratulations to David Aydelott, Jacob Campos, and all of the band members for their stellar weekend.
Franklin Band invites the community to the 3rd Annual Community Cavalcade Performance on Saturday, Nov 8th in the Howard Gamble Stadium. The free program at 7:00 PM, which includes the full performance of this season’s spectacular, award-winning show titled FX: A Cinematic Experience.
