July 6th is the next Franklin Art Scene’s tour of the arts, with more than 30 galleries, some new stops, and a few new artists. Music, glass blowing, painting and more await participants in the art crawl. The event is free and predominantly inside to avoid the heat. Unlimited trolley rides are only $5 for the night so you can visit as many stops as you wish.

Boutique MMM is hosting three local painters, one of which is Pam Francis, an instructor at Vanderbilt’s Sarratt Studios. Her hanging and functional pieces combining watercolor and acrylic are wonderful. Victoria Bilyeu and Karen Philpott will also display their creations.

Gallery 202 is having a painting party with canvas being transformed onsite for you to witness. Dana Kahan and Abby Coon are local artists who plan to feed the artful soul with their live works. Lizzy Couture Vintage Jewelry will be on display at Scarlett Scales Antiques, and the list goes on.
