In the first round of the Class 6A playoffs on Friday night, Ravenwood blewout visiting Bartlett 55-7.
The 10-1 Raptors took a 38-point first half lead, and were spurred by a 4-touchdown game from Chris Rowland, who had more total yards than the entire Bartlett (3-8) team.

Rowland started the scoring in the first quarter with an 88-yard kickoff return. He ran in a 58-yard score later in the first, caught a 60-yard touchdown from Andrew Rappe in the second quarter and ran another in in the third quarter, from 11-yards out.
Ravenwood held Bartlett to 0 yards passing and 166 yards rushing. Rowland totaled almost 300 yards on the night: he ran for 102 yards on 4 carries, gained 100 more on 2 receptions and, of course, had the 88-yard return touchdown.
Rappe threw 3 for 6 for 146 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for 47 yards and a score on 6 carries.
As a team the Raptors threw for 159 yards and ran for 267.
Next week Ravenwood hosts No. 6 seed Nashville Overton (6-4) in round two.
