Featured Pets of the Week: Kitty Carlisle and Emma Stone

Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center in Franklin, TN is headed toward the finish line in the three-month ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge! Holding at second in their division and 12th in the nation at the end of July, the shelter is pulling out all the stops to make their required goal of 809 lives saved by August 31!
The final 12 days of the challenge will be packed with events, including a “Set a Record Saturday;” and “Superstar Sunday” (first time ever to be open on a Sunday!).
Saturday, August 23, “Set a Record Saturday” at the shelter, 106 Claude Yates Dr., 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Beat the one-day adoption record of 31!
Sunday, August 24, “Superstar Sunday” at the shelter, noon to 3:00 p.m.
All adoption fees are waived through August 31 for approved applicants. All adoptable pets have been spayed or neutered, and have received all necessary tests, vaccinations and immunizations.

Emma Stone is a 5-year-old boxer mix that likes long walks, belly rubs and fancy dinners. She has been available for adoption for several months but has not met the right person yet. Emma (aka MoMo) is mature, responsible and a confident companion.

 

 

Kitty Carlisle“To Tell the Truth,” Kitty Carlisle is a love! She is a natural beauty who likes to play with toys and is fond of cat nip. Kitty loves human interaction, but is not a big fan of dogs!

The adoption center at Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center, 106 Claude Yates Dr. in Franklin is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www. adoptwcac.org.
