Training Hike
Radnor Lake Nature Center
Sun, May 21 9:00 am

This is a continuation of a series of training hikes for those with a desire to hike the big hikes, such as Fiery Gizzard, Honey Creek, Virgin Falls, but don't feel as if you are ready. Radnor Park is a perfect place , because the many trails permit ever increasing levels of difficulty, as well as places to exit should one become fatigued and wish to finish sooner. The hike will include Ganier Ridge and South Cove at a brisk pace. NOTES: Access is only from Granny White Pike/Otter Creek Road because the road is blocked to vehicle traffic through the park. On some maps Otter Creek Road looks like a through street for cars but it is not. Bring water. Bring a friend, or two, or ten... Dogs are not permitted on the trails in Radnor Park.
