Metro Arts is unveiling a comprehensive plan that positions public art as a community investment tool for neighborhood transformation, creative workforce development, and equitable practices throughout the city. Join Metro Arts and city leaders to discuss the future of public art in Nashville. The session will open with an overview of the new Public Art Community Investment Plan with Metro Arts Executive Director Jennifer Cole and Director of Public Art & Placemaking Caroline Vincent. A panel discussion with arts and city leaders will follow, with panelists Clay Haynes, Metro Arts Commission Chair; Nancy Van Reece, Metro Council Member; Erin Williams, Director of Constituent Response of the Mayor's Office of Neighborhoods; Alex Macias, Community Development Coordinator of Conexión Américas; Ariel Lavery, artist; and Stephanie Pruitt, poet and public artist. Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
