After effects of Tanker Wreck felt by School System

Power Mondays are cancelled for all schools this morning as Williamson County Schools try and prepare for what will be months of traffic headaches after Friday’s Tanker wreck that took out both GooseCreek/ Peytonsville Rd. Bridges. While both lanes of 65 are re-opened the bridges will not be for 90-100 days according to TDOT.  (Click here for detour map) Oak View and Page Schools are the most directly affected by the wreck. Director of Schools, Dr. Looney, spoke to the press on Friday and encouraged parents to be patient and to have their kids take the bus to alleviate additional traffic.
