Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Dr. Leigh Webb has been selected as the Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools. Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney made the announcement Thursday. Webb will replace Dr. Charles Farmer who is moving to the Franklin Special School District.

“Dr. Webb is an asset to our central office and school district. She has done amazing work as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources,” said Looney. “I asked her to move into this new role because I needed someone with her strong leadership skills and work ethic to continue the great work with the secondary schools.”

Webb began her career in Williamson County Schools in 2004 as an English teacher at Franklin High. She served as an assistant principal at Ravenwood High for eight years before moving to Centennial High School as principal. She assumed her current role as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources last year.

“Williamson County Schools is a special place, and working alongside the professionals in our Human Resources department over the past year has been an incredible experience,” said Webb. “As a former principal, I know firsthand of the stellar job our secondary schools team does to support middle and high school leaders. There is such important work being done, and I consider it an honor to serve our district in this new role.”
