Don’t Miss the Pink Gala on New Year’s Eve

Locals looking for Franklin’s best New Year’s Eve party need look no farther than The Pink Gala.

The black-tie optional event at The Factory at Franklin promises great food, music, drinks and dancing until well after the ball drops, and all of it is focused on a worthy cause: fighting breast cancer.

“Having lost my mother to breast cancer and survived the battle myself, this is personal to me,” says Kelly Spalding, who is producing The Pink Gala. “People ask what they can do, and here’s your chance: buy a ticket to the Pink Gala, or consider donating a pink boa either in honor of a breast cancer survivor in your life or in memory of someone who has lost her life to this disease. These proceeds go to help women in this community who are battling breast cancer right now, and we will have a big time ringing in the New Year.”

Each boa is $25, bright pink for survivors and light pink for those who have passed. Boas will be displayed prominently during The Pink Gala event, and proceeds will go toward the Williamson Medical Center Foundation’s Breast Health Center. The boas can be purchased online through ThePinkGala.com or through Kelly Spalding Designs.

Tickets for the black-tie New Year’s Eve gala are available for $165 per person online or at Kelly Spalding Designs at 915 Columbia Avenue in downtown Franklin. In addition to dinner by Catering and Events by Suzette, there will be beer, wine and signature cocktails, a wonderful silent auction, dancing to Burning Las Vegas, and a Champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
