The rain didn’t stop Dierks Bentley’s hometown show of his ‘Burning Man’ tour at Bridgestone Arena on Friday night. Opening for the show was Hot Country Knights featuring Thomas Rhett and Sawyer Brown followed by John Pardi and Tenille Townes.

Bentley surprised the audience when he brought out Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban. This was the first appearance in Nashville for Lambert after her sudden announcement of her marriage last week.

Sharing on Instagram, Bentley stated, “what can I say about these two and this moment here tonight at Bridgestone Arena, other than it’s just good to have pals. Someone like @keithurban, who I sent a text to two days ago that literally started with “I hate myself for even texting this, so please just say no, but I’m playing Bridgestone tomorrow night…..” And @mirandalambert, who I randomly bumped into yesterday in nashville, who asked about the show and said she and her husband were thinking about coming down. A lot of laughs in the dressing room 20 minutes before my band and I walked on stage, working something up. The best. Heart full of grateful for everyone that made tonight the night that it was, but these two are at the top”

Watch the video of the trio below where they performed Hank Williams “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” Merle Haggard’s “The Bottle Let Me Down,” and Loretta Lynn’s “Blue Kentucky Girl” closing with Dixie Chicks “Cowboy Take Me Away.”

Later in the evening, Bentley shared the stage with his ten-year-old daughter Evie where they sang Travelin’ Light which he recorded with Brandi Carlile. Bentley posted the video on Instgram and watch until the end as Evie adds her own “moves” to the song.
