The 32nd annual Dickens of a Christmas returns this weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, celebrating an old Victorian Christmas in the heart of downtown Franklin. Throughout the two-day event, there will be three main stages to enjoy free entertainment.
Taking to the stage on Saturday afternoon is well-known worship leader Aaron Shust from Pennsylvania. Â The 2007 Gospel Music Association songwriter of the Year will lead the Town Sing at 4:30 pm on Saturday at the Public Square stage.
Just before the Town Sing, 2016 “American Idol” contestant Thomas Stringfellow will take to the stage. The 17-year- old Arkansas native made it to the top 14 contestants on “American Idol.”
Entertainment begins at 10 am on Saturday and ends at 4:30 pm with athe Town Sing. On Sunday, entertainment begins at 11am with the Lucky Scruff Whisker Revue taking place at 2:15 on the Public Square Stage. See the complete entertainment listing and stages below.
